The Artist

Here’s a little bit about Kim:

Kim Hartz has always viewed life differently, thanks to a camera given to her as a child.  Over the years she has honed her art, specializing in pet and infant photography, gaining recognition within the photography industry, earning the distinction of Certified Professional Photographer, and producing award winning images.

The images Hartz takes for her clients capture the unique essence of each subject, producing a true work of art that is both timeless and precious. The connection between pet parent and pet is especially poignant, and one of her favorite subjects.

Most recently, Hartz’s photographs were accepted into the General and Loan Collection of Professional Photographers of America’s (PPA) 2012 International Photographic Competition. Her three photos titled “I Need My Space”, “What Do you Mean Dog?” and “Rocco” were among the pictures chosen to be on display alongside other photographic works from PPA’s photographic competition and traveling and special invitational displays.

Here’s a little something about Abby:

Abby is the official mascot of Kim Hartz Photography and has been since day one.  She is Kim’s inspiration and muse for new photographic ideas, props for the studio, and print competition.

Abby absolutely loves playing fetch with her dad, going to doggie daycare at Rover Oaks and playing with all her friends, terrorizing Oscar (her beloved kitty brother), and lounging around the house.  She will be four years old in March, and she enjoys meeting all the dogs and parents coming to Kim Hartz Photography for their photo shoots.

I’m interested in Christmas themed photos. Do you have backgrounds for holiday prints? Also in your reply can you provide pricing info.

Thank you!

Can you please tell me what your rate are for taking pictures of 6 newborn puppies? We would probably wait until they are about 4 weeks and have their eyes open.

Thanks

I have also grown up with golden retrievers and your photography shows their personalities so well! The backdrops, props, babies, and animals are perfect! I was linked to your website through gbgrr.org and I am so glad I explored!

I may have to bring Smudge (My four year old goofball golden) to you one day!
