About the Artist

Here’s a little bit about me:

I absolutely love photography.  This love affair quickly began after my dad gave me my first camera way back when.  It never occurred to me that I could really do what I love everyday, but here I am making it happen.  To make things even better, I get to hang out with pets and babies all day!

One aspect of my photography that I continually focus on is making sure that the unique personalities of those I photograph shine though in the images.  It is my number one goal to make sure that the art I create for you and your family is something that you will absolutely love and cherish for years to come.

Here’s a little something about Abby:

Abby is the official mascot of Kim Hartz Photography. She is one of the reasons I first started photographing pets. Of course, she is spoiled. I just can’t help it when I look at that big furry face!

Abby absolutely loves playing fetch with her dad, going to doggie daycare at Rover Oaks and playing with all her friends (especially Titus), terrorizing Oscar (our beloved kitty), and lounging around the house.

I am interested in setting up a session with you. One dog for sure posibly two dogs. Seperate and together in photos. Both little guys, looking for candid fun shots….and your work is fabulous! Can you please tell me what your rate are for taking pictures of 6 newborn puppies? We would probably wait until they are about 4 weeks and have their eyes open.

I have also grown up with golden retrievers and your photography shows their personalities so well! The backdrops, props, babies, and animals are perfect! I was linked to your website through gbgrr.org and I am so glad I explored!

I may have to bring Smudge (My four year old goofball golden) to you one day!
